Grand Master Shaheed Sultan Muhammad has studied martial arts (Montu) over 65 years, styles includes, Isshin-ryū Karate, Judo, Wah Lum Kung Fu (Shaolin Five Animal Styles; Tiger, Cobra, Bull, Elephant and Butterfly), Wing Chun, Capoeira, Kali (Escrima, Sinawali), Tai Chi, Savat (Savate), and Teska or Tevia (Ethiopia). He has also taught in Nigeria, while attending in 1970-71, the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife (OAU). While, there in Nigeria, he would visit the university's zoo from which he created the style called "The Baboon." He would mimic their defense and offense postures and attack. Grand Master Shaheed even met the late and great Bruce Lee on two occasions, first in 1968 in Washington, D.C. and a second time in Los Angeles, California in 1972. During this time Master Shaheed was the Executive Director of the world renown Mafundi Cultural Institute in Watts, California, where he taught 500 students. Subsequently, he had opened and operated 5 schools throughout the U.S. (1) One school in Phoenix, Arizona, (1) one school in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he started the (1st) first martial arts club in Shreveport Southern University and several others. He currently, operates the Golden Tiger Kung Fu Academy in Henderson, North Carolina. He is the founder of the KHALIFA INTERNATIONAL MARTIAL ARTS ASSOCIATION, founded and incorporated in 1979. Master Shaheed is also the founder of the MIMCHI BREATHING INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION. This association housed Grand Master Shaheed Sultan Muhammad (Founder) and my (Dr. Alim El-Bey's) former teacher Grand Master Sunyata Saraswati (9 years from 2005 -2014) of the Shen Tao Dragon Phoenix Temple Monastery who was an association's Grand Master.

According to David Finkelhor, Director of the Crimes Against Children Research Center at the University of New Hampshire in conjunction with the United States Federal Justice Department, 58,000 children in 1999 were taken for short periods of time (i.e. not overnight) mostly by people they knew excluding relatives. Of those, nearly half were sexually assaulted and many were killed. (The report says “fewer than 1% were killed” but 1% of 58,000 is 580, a substantial number.)
