Ancestor Money RitualI recommend doing this ancestor money ritual after you LIGHT YOUR 7 DAY CANDLES, give your offering of food, wine, water, or/& incense, and say your affirmations and ashe's. You can burn your ancestor money in a shell, cauldron or fire resistant pot/kettle.
HOW TO SETUP AN ALTER
Place a 7 day candle on each side of your cauldron. This serves as a portal. It will look like a number 11 with a shell in the middle.
Step 1 Light an ancestor note from your burning candle using your right hand which is your giving hand. While lighting, say the specific "this is for all my ancestors both known and unknown". You can also say names of family members or last names.
Step 2 While saying who the ancestor money is for (see step 1), place dollar(s) in the cauldron using your right hand. You can add more notes at this time while still saying who it's for.

Perform this ritual on any Moon Day. The Ritual: Place the 5 pieces of money/ currency where the sun will shine on them part of the day. (Put them on foil or plastic wrap). This is an authentic mojo bag, I have studied hoodoo in my many years of the craft, and I have made this bag as it should be made.

Directions:
Your mojo bag will become a living energy To care for it you can do the following:
1 Some say they you should never show your Mojo Hand to anyone, that it is for you alone, and that you should never let anyone else handle it other than yourself. If this accidentally happens you will need to cleanse it by praying over it and dressing it with one of your favorite spiritual oils. Other Conjure workers do not have such a prohibition, and encourage folk to remove their mojo bag and ask it for aid whenever the need arise. Whichever tradition works best for you is the one you should follow.
2. It should be dressed weekly. You can do this by lighting an appropriately colored candle, and then handling the Mojo bag from corner to center meditating/praying over it for its purpose. The specific purpose of your Mojo bag will determine what oils or colognes you should use to dress it with.You may use any heart-felt prayer, either from your spiritual or religious tradition(s), or even made up on the spot. The point is that you feel it deeply when you are making your prayer.
3. Keep your Mojo bag with you. It should be worn and concealed, but may be kept in a purse, a pocket, or even pinned to undergarments. At night, it is customary to place it in between your pillow and the case so that it can remain close. The contents in a mojo bag can vary, however crystals, silver, herbs, orgone, coins, magnets, diodes, and/or salt are usual contents for a United Washitaw Mojo bag.
5. Touch it and renew your prayer when you feel that you especially need its help in a given situation. This will increase its connection to you and keep the momentum of its power moving forward.
